Production Logging and Well-Reservoir Performance Evaluation Technology for horizontal oil producers survey employs High Precision Temperature Array Tool (TAT), Split Channels Spectral Noise logging Tool along with Standard CAT, RAT modules. Such combination of hardware and Temperature modelling software allows to constrict reservoir and well-bore-oriented production profiles without use of SAT tool. North Side’s Array toolstring is short and rigid enough to be run on standard CTU without risk of lost in hole, damage and data loss.

Key findings from Spinnerless production profiling:

  • Production profile was constructed across 700m horizontal section completed with 4.5” PDL without use of Spinner Array Tool.
  • Spectral Noise Tool (SNL) precisely located 4 zones of reservoir contributing to the production behind liner.
  • Array TAT tool readings with subsequent Temperature modelling and with the help of CAT tool revealed a production profile where 90% of horizontal section of the well produces water and only 10% of the hill produces mixture of oil and water.
