X-Y CALIPER LOGGING TOOL
The X-Y Caliper logging tool features two independent calipers (arms X and Y) oriented perpendicularly to each other, designed to measure the internal diameter of the well casing. The caliper arms have spring-loading mechanisms to maintain a consistent radial force on the casing wall throughout the measurement range. Each set of arms can independently retract to the tool’s diameter to navigate through restrictions. The X and Y sensors operate independently.
